Formed in Prague, Valentino Evangelo and clavierist Hugh Doriello are the force behind The Creaks, a project redefining rock with their own genre of “Cinematic Rock,” a distinct style, and an avant-garde live show. Unafraid to break boundaries, the band has built a wide-ranging repertoire. They move effortlessly from the impactful themes of their successful EP Until The Rain Ends into dark, melancholic ballads and experimental alternative music. Having proven their intense stage energy alongside acts like The Hara and RUWORR!ED, they won the nationwide REC.stage contest out of 576 entries, earning a spot at Colours of Ostrava 2026. Their growing fanbase, known as the Bat Kids Hotel, represents a dedicated safe space for everyone. With their goth-cinematic track Corpse Bride, the duo is currently teasing an ambitious concept far grander than a standard concert, an upcoming immersive experience called the “Creaks Show.”
